This week we continued our study of the People of the Early Northwest Coast by learning about their environment, the ways they used natural resources to meet their needs, their family systems, and their naming methods. We practiced finding the area and perimeter of rectangles and squares, continued to study decimals in math, celebrated our January IXL success, read our Native American themed novels in walk-to-reading, focused on supporting details in expository paragraphs, and explored more techniques for creating perspective in art! Busy week!
With thanks,
