Goal for the Week: Study
every night for my economics test. Be
ready for the test on Friday.
Announcements:
The 4th Grade Concert is this week, Tuesday, 4/2 at 7:00pm. Students should meet in our classroom at 6:50.
Vacation absences: Students
who are absent for part of this week and/or part of the week after break should
check the website for homework. Math practice pages are available to print
on my class website, the Envision math textbook can be accessed online using
student logins, and related IXL skills are a great way to practice what is
being learned in class. We’ll also be reading out of our Lewis & Clark books
and completing related packet work. Students gone for vacation can work ahead
on the Lewis & Clark reading and packet. It is not always possible/feasible
for teachers to provide work ahead of time for students or repeat the content
of missed lessons, and we appreciate your help from home while we attempt to
juggle the many illness and vacation absences!
This Week:
We’re continuing math
topic 17 (Data & Graphing), completing
a short unit on economics, starting to read a book based on the journals of
Lewis & Clark, and finishing our expository pieces on favorite weekend
activities.
With thanks,
Emily Larson
