Announcements:
Announcements: MSP testing continues next week (Tuesday - Reading). Good sleep,
healthy breakfasts, and lots of encouragement would be great for testing
days. If at all possible for these next two weeks, please try to avoid
taking your child out of school for vacation or medical appointments. I
am working hard to prepare them for the MSP tests and want them to do their
very best. Thanks for your support!
Wax Museum: Students should be reading their biography books, seeking out internet resources (with adult guidance and supervision as needed), and taking notes in their packets. Examples and information page on the website coming soon!

We’re finishing our
Lewis & Clark reading journey and using writing, art, and research to explore the impact of their expedition. Our
Wax Museum project continues with kids reading their biographies, completing
internet research, taking notes, and starting to plan/work on their posters.
Math classes are completing Topic 18: Equations (algebra), working on Topic 19:
Geometry, and reviewing topics from earlier in the year. We also conferenced individually on the
all-day practice expository piece and used station activities to review
common/proper nouns, apostrophes, and specific/general nouns.
With thanks,
Emily Larson
