ASB speeches will be Friday in our classroom. Students may only run for election
if they have returned the parent permission form! I'll be handing out copies to interested students tomorrow with the permission form on one side and the speech guidelines on the other side. They can also be printed out here.
Goal for the Week: Make quick, quiet transitions.

Reading Logs: Make sure students are
filling out their reading logs as they go and having you initial their times –
it’s much easier to remember when and how much you read if you fill it in right
away!
This Week:
We’re continuing Math
Topic 1 (Numeration), reading a story about a sled dog running the Iditarod
race, finishing our “Summer Sandwiches”, writing poems to go with our
bio-collages, learning about the US Government, exploring the use of lines in art, electing our ASB representatives, and playing our first rounds of Homeworkopoly!
